Preparation First, the participants will receive electronic materials and fill-in a questionnaire by e-mail. Second, the participants will be invited to share with other participants their personal profiles (with a photo).
Objectives to develop team building and group dynamics skills and at the same time intercultural competence and European Citizenship
Methodology Cooperative learning activities. Most of the sessions will be workshop-based involving problem-solving and discussion.
Follow-up The participants will design activities for promoting group dynamics and will share and discuss them by e-mail with the organizers and other participants.

Day 1

9.00 -10.45. Welcome, getting to know each other.
11.15.- 13.00 Introduction to the course, the basics of groupdynamics.
14.00 – 16.00 Group development stages, preconditions for effective team work

Day 2

9.00 -10.45. Developing relationships in groups.
11.15.- 13.00 Appreciating diversity, preconditions of effective communication. Active listening skills. Rapport.
14.00 – 16.00 Emotion and stress management and self-control in team work.

Day 3

9.00 -10.45. Natural learning systems.
11.15.- 13.00 The role of the leader and manager. Motivating team participants.
14.00 – 16.00 Time management

Day 4
9.00 -10.45. Causes and types of conflicts and destructive behavior in groups.
11.15.- 13.00 Constructive conflict resolution skills. Consensus.
14.00 – 16.00 Group work, designing group dynamics activities for a particular audience.

Day 5
9.00 -10.45. Presentation and analysis of the designed group dynamics activities.
11.15.- 13.00 Feedback and self-evaluation of the group work.
14.00 – 16.00 Discussion on the results of the course and suggestions for future cooperation.
